Do you have experience as a mentor in orthoptic education and research?

Do you have experience as a mentor in orthoptic education and research?  If so, we have the perfect project that needs your help.

Connie Koklanis (Program Coordinator for IOA Education & Research Program) is seeking Council members and IOA members from your national association to volunteer to help develop resources to advance education and research skills.  She needs 3-5 team members with relevant backgrounds in orthoptic education, clinical supervision and/or research to be a part of this team. Over the course of the next 8 months, the team will develop a draft document with the hopes of distributing a final document in 1 year to Council for final approval.  Please consider volunteering and encourage qualified members from your country to volunteer.  For more information on this project, please see the attached document.

 VOLUNTEER DEADLINE:

If you are interested in participating in this IOA project, please reply to me (fraykatherinej@uams.edu) and to Connie (k.koklanis@latrobe.edu.au) no later than Monday, September 15, 2014.  We ask that you (as IOA Representative) submit the name and e-mail address of member volunteers from your national association by this deadline.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Kathy
